I hope he doesn’t dip back into the mediocrity of his early to mid 2010s output. To me he’s been more consistent in the past four years than he’d ever been prior to 2016. I don’t even know if I can call myself a fan of Kid Cudi because his albums are so all over the place. I guess I’ll see how I feel next year when he finally drops that Entergalactic project he’s been promoting. I don’t know if I’ll ever review another Kid Cudi album just because it feels like they’re always pretty goddamn long.
Still, its an entertaining, vibrant, and artistically filling album, so consider it a 'presents' effort and enjoy the show.
